Custom Tins – Designing your own tins
The first step in creating your own custom tins is naturally going to be the design process. When designing your own tin containers, you’ll be able to choose from different shapes, sizes, closing mechanisms, and printing techniques. Simply let us know what you have in mind, and we will turn your idea into a beautiful custom made tin container. Please keep in mind that, with custom made tins, we do have to apply a minimum order quantity (MOQ) starting from 1000 - 15,000pcs depending on the printing technique you wish to use. Naturally, you will receive a sample piece by mail to inspect before stating the production of the entire order.

All our tins have been crafted out of a high-quality aluminum alloy. The benefit of this material is that it is very easy to shape. Custom Tin Containers - Lids and Closing Mechanisms
After choosing the shape and volume of your custom tins, it is time to think about the closing mechanism you would like to use. Generally speaking, uCan-Packaging offers four different types of lids that close off your seamless metal tins. On request, all the tops can be equipped with an EPE liner that helps you seal off your small tin boxes more tightly.
SCREW TOPS
Perhaps the most popular closing mechanisms for metal tins are the standard screw top lids. Screw top tins are easy to close and open with a twist of your wrist. They seal off tightly and can be equipped with an EPE liner. This makes them great for holding any sort of goods. Naturally, screw top lids can only be used on round tin containers.
SLIPCOVERS
For tins that do not have a round form, the most popular closing mechanism are standard slipcovers. Slipcover tins have standard lids that easily slide on top of your empty can. All you have to do is lift up the top, and it will slip right off. The great thing about slipcovers is that they can be equipped with an EPE liner and they can be used on any tin container, no matter their shape or volume.
CLEAR TOPS
A window cap is not necessarily a closing mechanism in itself. Window tins are small containers that come with a beautiful see-through cap. Thanks to this, a windowed tin is great for displaying colorful products. They are most commonly used as candy tins, spice tins, or candle tins. A window tin can feature both a screw-top or slipcover closing mechanism depending on your preferences.
HINGED TOPS
Hinged tins are commonly square or rectangular tins. Such a tin box can be used for storing a wide number of goods. Most commonly, you’ll find hinged lid tins in the foods industry where they are being used to hold sweets, tea, or coffee. ADHESIVE STICKERS AND PAPER ETIQUETTES - (Starting from 1,000pcs)
By far the cheapest way to customize your tin is by adding an adhesive sticker or paper etiquette. These labels are easy to produce and apply onto any type of tin container. Although they extremely cheap to apply, they give your custom tins a beautiful and premium finish.
SILK-SCREEN PRINTING - (Starting from 1,500pcs)
Silkscreened custom tins are a great and affordable way for companies who wish to bring a new product onto the market in a decorative tin. With a silkscreened tin, you’ll be able to differentiate your product from its competition by adding a colourful wrapping.
